Four years ago I was introduced to network marketing. I had no idea what it was as a profession, and had no experience with it. Because I was a stay-at-home mom, I didn’t have a lot of time during the day. Because of this, I knew I wanted to build a business fast. I’m going to give you my top three tips on how to go from 0 to 6 figures within a year.
How to Go From 0 to 6 Figures Within a Year
- Connect and build relationships. Foster relationships and go to networking events. When I started going to networking events I was very nervous. One of my leaders told me to speak from the heart, share what I like about the product and not necessarily say what company I’m with. I use meetup.com to find some local groups in the area and ask people for referrals.
- Facebook. I’ve probably built 80% of my business through Facebook. Social media is huge, but I learned everything about Facebook so that’s the one I recommend. Work on building your profile, brand yourself, and create curiosity.
- Vendor shows. I don’t recommend spending more than $100 for a table if you’re going to do an event. You want to know how many people they’re expecting, what kind of people will be coming through, and really think things through. You can also go talk to different vendors about whether or not you should open a stand there, which will lead to them asking what you do.
All of these strategies require a lot of work, but with enough effort, they are all very rewarding. These are the 3 main ways that I’ve grown my business, and I still continue to do them.
