You start where you are, knowing you do not have to thinner, really flexible, or have your practice of yoga look like anyone else’s.

Gentle/Hatha 1: The pace of the class is slow, so you can take time to adjust and find the best position for your body. If you have injury or stiffness or want to ease into
Hatha 1: My focus in this class is getting you comfortable with where your body is right now. The poses fit each body in a unique way. I start with some joint movements, to check in with the body, and then bring in poses. I place an emphasis on adapting the pose to your body. You will learn basic poses and the combination of poses for Sun Salute and Moon Salute among others. Breathing practice is part of the practice to integrate and engage your mind as well as the body.
Hatha 2: After learning all the basic poses of hatha yoga you can build on what you learn. More complex and deeper balance poses and vinyasa (poses done in a flow from one to the other). The basic poses will also be refined as your awareness of your body gets stronger and you can notice more and more. The breath practices also get deeper and you will learn more challenging new poses.
Hatha All Levels: This class is multi-level and includes basic poses. There is an emphasis on safety and staying at your level. You can choose to remain in the basic option or slowing go deeper as appropriate for your level. Each class includes balance and breath practices as well as the poses.
