Step Up Your Game and Recruit More

How do you get more people to look at your opportunity? You must change your mindset from an amateur to a professional.

How can you develop a professional mindset while inviting prospects to take a look?  The goal here is to educate and inspire someone.  Professionals build trust and rapport all while building a solid relationship.  You don’t pitch and you learn to not take rejection personally.

Here are some ground rules while going through the recruiting process:

1. Always, always, always be yourself… but your BEST self if you know what I mean.  Have that uplifting positive attitude that others admire.
2. Bring it! Hone in on your passion, why are you in this business?  Why are you so passionate about your products and services and share that.  You also want to express enthusiasm while you speak.  No monotone voices here. Capture them.
3. Detach yourself from the outcome.  You are there to do one thing and one thing only, provide them with a solution to their problem.  Share stories more than the features.
4. Posture is critical.  This is how you carry yourself and how you control the situation so you are taking the lead.  This ultimately will come with belief in yourself, your products/services, company etc.

Stop saying you’re “sorry”

I can’t tell you how often I hear others say this.  I’m sorry to bother you, I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m sorry, but…!  Saying sorry in this situation is a sign of weakness and you as a professional business owner is NOT weak.  You must be strong, don’t apologize, don’t project insecurities, hold your head up and smile.

Be the person that others want to do business with.  If the outcome does not turn out in your favor, then shake it off and learn from it.  I always ask myself “What can I do to get better?” or “What lesson can I learn from this situation?”  Be kind to yourself.

I will leave you with this my friend.  You must take charge of building and developing the skills that create your future.  Are you reading great material, listening to audios, running your butt to company events?  Hired a Mentor/Coach? Have you taken time to invest in yourself?  If you want to grow your business, you must first grow yourself.

Cheers to your success!
