Being successful in your network marketing business doesn’t have to be this super complicated plan with hundreds of steps and lots of difficult tasks. Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS), right? Sometimes it just takes a few simple ones to help you succeed.
Let me walk you through my Six Super Simple Steps to Success to help you grow your network marketing business.
These steps have made me and my team successful and will make YOU SUCCESSFUL, too.
STEP 1 – Clarity is Power
Clarity is knowing what you’re doing – being clear on your mission, your goals and your vision. You have to know why you are aligned with your company and your products, because there may be times when naysayers will try to bring you down. Don’t let them!
- Believe in yourself.
- Believe in your profession.
- Believe in your product.
I always say “certainty is sexy,” so be certain about what you are doing, what you’re promoting and what services you’re offering. Have that clarity.
STEP 2 – Know Your Why
We are always talking about this: Know your why. Why are you doing this?
I’m going to be honest. In the beginning, all I knew is that I loved the products. I also love helping people. So, you know what? That’s a great why! My passion for helping others is my “why.”
Your “why” will probably change many times and doesn’t have to be a big, bold one. If it is, you’re not going to hit it right away. For example, paying off your parent’s mortgage, paying off your mortgage, those can definitely be a “why” for you. I find that when I set smaller goals for myself, I hit them quicker than this big, huge, elaborate goal. Find a “why” that works best for you and let that “why” push you and let the “how” show up later.
Reach out to your leaders in your company or in the industry to ask questions and get support with this. We are all willing to help one another grow, and that’s definitely what I want. I want financial freedom and time freedom for everybody.
STEP 3 – Consistent, Massive Action
It takes big, consistent action to create growth. There’s nothing like doing a 60-day push, a 90-day push toward your goals. Block out some time to really run with your team – reach out to them to give your business that push it may need. I remember one time I jumped 37 cycles in one day to rank advance and it was unbelievable. I don’t even think I showered that day, I spent it reaching out to my team and really pushing forward. Sometimes there’s going to be times like that you will want or need to take full-blown, massive action.
STEP 4 – Notice Your Results
Celebrate the little wins and cut yourself some slack. Your huge empire is going to be built overnight, but will start growing exponentially. Enjoy the journey and acknowledge your accomplishments along the way.
STEP 5 – Change Your Approach
If something’s not working for you, figure out how to change it. Even though I had great mentors and wonderful leaders guiding me, I had to find my own voice. Don’t feel like you have to create a completely new system, just use one that already exists and make it your own. Figure out what’s going to work for you and your team and don’t be afraid to find a different approach to make things work.
STEP 6 – Never Quit
Never, ever, ever quit. Sometimes you’re going to feel like quitting. I promise you, you will have wall-kicking moments. We’ve all been there. We’ve all had those moments of haters and naysayers and that’s gonna happen. Sometimes, people don’t want to see others succeed, but you have to know in your heart that you’re on the right path, and just keep moving forward. You may have to put your blinders on, but just don’t quit.
