I felt compelled to write this blog, because not too long ago I made a decision that I was going to branch out and do these videos, to start my fan and business pages and to help people grow their Network Marketing Business.
It hasn’t always been easy for me. I understand what it’s like to have bumps in the road on the journey, like you. I pushed past those bumps.
Not too long ago, I decided I really enjoyed teaching this profession, I’ve really fallen in love with this profession. Having a background in corporate America, then traditional business, and now with Network Marketing. I really see what it can do for people.
I have some mentors who were helping me, teaching me how to bring my business online. For me, starting a Network Marketing business was completely new. However, they warned me of something that may happen when you put yourself out there. You’re going to have what we call haters. I typically like to call them people that are just misunderstood on the journey you’re about to take. They just misunderstand Network Marketing.
I was warned, by my mentors, that you’re probably going to encounter people who are going to misunderstand you. They’re going to be unappreciative of what you’re doing, not really understanding how much it takes for me to step one of my comfort zone. You guys, I made the decision to do this not too long ago, and I just recently started doing these videos. Because, I too, had fear wrapped around it. I really could identify with all of you because I know there’s a lot of people who are fearful of doing Facebook Live. They’re fearful of talking to friends and family about their Network Marketing business.
They’re fearful of being judged, of maybe having their integrity attacked, or ridiculed.
Then come the opinions.
Opinions are always going to fly at you.
I’m writing this blog because, since doing these videos, I have received hundreds of messages from people. Because these messages and videos I do have helped them grow their own business.
Wow, I had my ‘ah ha’ moment.
These are great tips. So I keep doing these videos.
However, it happened: I got my first hater.
I got my first just misunderstood person. We’ll just say that.
Here’s the thing. I don’t mind when people disagree with what I’m teaching. That’s totally fine. Agree to disagree, right? But when you attack somebody’s character and integrity, that is a different story. That is something I won’t tolerate. I want to say “thank you” to all of you who have supported me and who are really, really loving the information that I’m sharing. It’s what keeps me going. It’s what’s going to keep me going.
I am not going to allow one person’s opinion to stop me from doing it.
The cool thing about what we do is we have a choice of who can follow us or not.
We have a choice of who we surround ourselves with. Correct?
In this business, we talk about being bulletproof. Some people say stand 10 feet tall and be bulletproof. I say go 20, go 30, go 40, go 50 feet tall. You have to have a strong backbone in this business, or in life period. Because there’s always going to be people that are going to hate or going to misunderstand you, what you’re about and what you’re doing.
Just know that it’s okay as long as you understand where you’re going in life, what you’re doing, and you believe in it.
That’s the most important part. That you believe in what you are doing.
This person, this hater, my very first hater, my mentors were right. They told me it was going to happen. They warned me. I have to thank the person that hated on my training because they’re just igniting me to do more; to help more people and to get my message out so I can inspire all of you to take action and to grow your business.

I want you to be able to grow your life into something you enjoy and you have freedom – time freedom and money freedom.
Live with purpose, live in joy, brush off the rest and walk away. Just keep going forward and don’t look back.
