How to Prospect with Confidence and Ease

These are questions I often get –

“How have you been able to recruit 300 people into your business?”

and

“How do you connect with your cold market? and How do you prospect them?”

My number one tip for you today is that you want to add value. You want to build a relationship and then nurture it. They’re not just another “sale.” They’re not just another “person” in your business

You want to connect with class and with confidence.

It’s super important to have the posture of class and confidence when it comes to your business.

I don’t go out and prospect everybody. I don’t go out and recruit everybody into my business; to try my products or to get then into my opportunity. What I do is, I go out and I look for people that I enjoy and that have a great personality. First of all, they have to have a vibrancy about them.

They have to have that magnetic personality. It’s critical because we don’t want to work with somebody who is ho-hum.

When I am out talking to people, I have two favorite lines that I like to use, which I will share with you in a minute.

But first…I’m a mom.

I’m sure there’s a lot of moms out there who are building a business, like I did, with the little pockets of time that they have.  When I’m out with my 3-year-old and my 6 year old, I don’t have a lot of time to catch somebody’s ear.

Here are my 2 favorite opening lines; “Are you open” and “If I can show you a way.”

That’s it.

We only have about five seconds to grab somebody’s attention, so here’s how it would look.

If I am at a restaurant and I think the waiter or waitress is just phenomenal, and I feel a connection and that I may like to have them in my business, I might just say, “Are you open to creating an extra income outside of what you’re currently doing, on a part-time basis?”

It’s really as simple as that.

If people ask me, “Hey, what do you do?” I could say, “I show people how to create more time freedom and put more money in their bank account.”

Again, just really, really simple.

“Are you open to making an extra cash flow to possibly get rid of some of your debt?”

Let’s face it, a lot of people have debt and we know an extra $500 a month or $500 a week, whatever it is, could really help.

Within my first year, I was able to recruit 117 people into my business and I’ve gone on from there. The main thing that I really want to get across is you just want to build a rapport, a relationship and be authentic.

We don’t know if the opportunity is going to be right for them, so that’s the second part of what you say is this..

“If I can show you a way to make money from home, would you take a look at a ten-minute video? I don’t know if it’s going to be right for you, or if you’re going to see what I saw, but it’s definitely worth taking a look into.”

See? It’s so, so simple.

I hope I was able to answer this question and I hope you found value in it. If you did find this helpful comment below and share this with your team.

As always..
