What “Stay At Home” Could Mean
Being a mom is hard.
We have this instinct to be protective and nurturing, but going back and forth between staying home with your kids and concentrating on your work can be exhausting. For me, I wanted to be home with my kids, but I still wanted to contribute to my family financially.
Network marketing gave me that opportunity.
I was able to be driven and a mom. That’s why I am able to confidently say I make 7 figures and brought my business up from scratch. It’s amazing what we can do when we decide to focus on what makes us happy and start doing things for OUR dreams rather than the dreams of someone else.
There is also the freedom. Oh, gosh. That sweet freedom of being able to schedule your day exactly how YOU want it.
Or even NEED it.
When my son was younger, he had become ill and we had to take him to a treatment center for his breathing. It was scary and stressful. I couldn’t imagine having to call my boss and tell them about what was going on to just have them tell me I had to come in or I’d lose my job.
Luckily, I didn’t have to.
I had the freedom. I rearranged what I had to so I could be there with my son. I didn’t have the stress of someone hounding me or feeling guilty for being there with my son. My family and I come first and network marketing knows that. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Network Marketing is not for the Faint of Heart
This journey is not an easy one. Sure, you’ll be taking a deep personal development journey that might just be exactly what you need, but it comes with some drawbacks.
Misassumptions are some of them.
There’s this hype people put on Network Marketing when they’re pursuing new prospects, but the thing is it’s not an easy climb or quick easy money. It’s educating yourself so you know what you’re getting into. It’s accepting the rejections and using them as fuel to continue forward and never give up.
Because a simple yes is coming, but not without a few scuff marks.
It didn’t happen overnight for me, either. You need to do your research and pick the right company that works for YOUR goals and dreams. I am all about following the online trends and utilizing social media, so I had to do a switch myself because I wanted to find something that worked for ME.
Tips for Making Your Network Marketing Business a Success
The main dream in network marketing is to make it so successful that it becomes your favorite job, second to being a mom of course 😉
We want to make a stable second funnel of residual income and here’s what you need to do:
- Decide what’s right for YOU. Figure out how YOU want to run your business. Do you want to build online? Follow trends? Are you comfortable with how you’re running it now? Take a step back and look at your business as a whole. Is it going how YOU want it to go?
- Have a solid duplication system. Remember that what works for you, might not work for your team. And when your team succeeds, you succeed. So look at your system and make sure it’s actually duplicating for you AND your team.
- Stand in your truth. It’s okay to have off days or be nervous. Whatever you are feeling, OWN IT. Even if it’s taking a step back from a prospect. You don’t want to focus so much of your energy and time to someone who might just not be ready. It’s okay to take a step back and let them reach out to you on THEIR own terms. You’ve got to be true to yourself.

Network marketing can be a life-changing decision.
It can help you discover something about yourself, it can bring stability to your life, and even leave a legacy for your family. It’s not for everyone and that’s okay because we don’t want it to be for everyone.
It takes a certain type of someone to put faith in themselves and build the life you’ve always wanted. The obstacles are taken as learning points, the tears are used to replenish your mindset, the sweat is the proof of your hard work, and the blood is the love you put into your accomplishing your dreams. No one ever said you had to choose between your family and your dreams. Often they work hand in hand.
